Responsibilities:
- Manage five social agency social workers within the team
- Experience in supervision and developing social work staff
- Make the same the team undertake reviews in care homes and in persons own home in a timely manner
- The role will require the manager to allocate the work, monitor throughput, quality assure the assessments and ensure continuing health care checklists are implemented
To be considered for the Team Manager role:
- Have 3-5 years' experience of working within a similar role
- BSc Social Work or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
- Sound Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding and Continuing Healthcare
- An ability to oversee complex assessments
- Provision of professionals supervision and development of practitioner skills and expertise
